If wamp or xampp doesn’t work properly in windows 10 or let say you are not able to start Apache server even if you have closed Skype and other apps that you think are using port 80 then do then following and you’ll be fine.
1. First go to the search bar near the windows button and then click on the drive button in order to make local search and not online search and type services.msc.
2. After you opened services.msc try to find world wide web publishing service and stop it as it should be running by default.
3. You are done, now open wamp or xampp and it should work fine. Thanks and refer to the screenshots below if you have difficulty understanding it just by reading it.
